Gino Caro

A Speed Training Specialist for over 15 years, Gino has coached, motivated, and worked with over 5,000 youth, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes state wide. He holds a Masters of Science Degree from Duquesne University in Sports Leadership and currently does speaking engagements on Sports Leadership for teams and sports organizations. He is a certified USA Track and Field Level 1 Coach and a Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist from The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Along with having worked with athletes individually, Gino has organized and coached team speed camps and clinics for several youth, high school, and collegiate teams. These teams include 2013-2014 Southington High Football Team Class LL State Champions, 2008 Glastonbury High Football Team Class LL State Champions, 2009 Cheshire High Football Team Class LL State Champions and 2008 NCAA Division III Trinity College Baseball Team.  Currently he is the Speed Consultant for the Southington High Football Team,  Berlin High Football Team, Conard High Football Team,  Southington High School Baseball Team, and Southington Black Knights and Blue Knights Travel Baseball Teams.  Gino volunteers as one of the Strength and Conditioning Coaches for former NFL coach Eric Mangini's CFM Foundation football mini-camp held annually in Hartford Ct. Gino's customized programs are based on the initial evaluation for each athlete. His programs have helped several athletes reach the collegiate and professional level. Gino's training programs are based on his two philosophies; Train to Perform at Optimal Level and Discover Your Winning Potential. He calls this type of training "The Fast Lane Way." Before Gino founded Fast Lane Speed Training, he competed in Master's USA Track and Field and was ranked as high as 6th in the nation, 10th in the world in his age group in the 400 meters.
Gino also serves on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Connecticut and is currently the Board Chairperson for the Program Committee.
